Welcome to WayPresenter
WayPresenter is a free, AI-powered church presentation software designed to make worship services smoother and more engaging. Whether you're a small community church or a large congregation, this guide will help you get started in minutes.
Installation
Getting WayPresenter installed is straightforward. Head to our download page and grab the installer for your platform — Windows, macOS, or Linux. The entire process takes less than five minutes.
Windows users: Run the .exe installer and follow the prompts. macOS users: Open the .dmg file and drag WayPresenter to Applications. Linux users: Install the .deb package or run the AppImage directly.
First Launch Setup
When you first open WayPresenter, our onboarding wizard guides you through the essential configuration:
- Audio Input — Connect your soundboard or microphone for AI scripture detection
- Bible Translations — Select your preferred translations (KJV included by default)
- Display Output — Configure your projector or secondary monitor
- Content Import — Optionally import songs from EasyWorship, ProPresenter, or other software
Understanding the Interface
WayPresenter's interface is designed to be intuitive for operators of all skill levels:
- Left Panel: Your content library with songs, scriptures, and media
- Center: Preview and live output monitors showing what's on screen
- Right Panel: The AI Detection Queue where recognized scriptures appear
- Bottom Bar: Audio level meter and quick controls
Using AI Scripture Detection
One of WayPresenter's standout features is real-time AI scripture detection. Enable it by clicking the AI button in the toolbar, and as your pastor mentions Bible references during the sermon, they'll automatically appear in the detection queue ready to display.
The system runs entirely offline on your computer, so there's no internet dependency and no privacy concerns. Accuracy improves over time as the AI learns from your feedback.
Your First Service Checklist
Before your first live service, run through this quick checklist:
- Test audio input levels with someone speaking at the pulpit
- Verify the display output looks good from the back of the room
- Load any planned songs and scriptures into your service plan
- Practice switching between content types
- Enable AI detection and test with a few verse references
With these basics covered, you're ready to go. For more detailed guides on specific features, explore our documentation.
