1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WayPresenter ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Software.

WayPresenter is developed and distributed by Waystream ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

WayPresenter is a church presentation software that provides:

• AI-powered scripture detection
• Bible verse display and management
• Song lyrics display and organization
• Media library management
• Multi-display output
• Custom themes and templates

The Software is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use in church and religious organization settings.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Download and install WayPresenter on your devices
• Use the Software for its intended purposes
• Create and display presentations for worship services

This license is free of charge and does not expire.

4. Permitted Use

You may use WayPresenter for:

• Church worship services and events
• Religious gatherings and ceremonies
• Non-profit religious organization activities
• Personal study and preparation

5. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Software for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Distribute or sell copies of the Software (unless with written permission)
• Use the Software to create content that infringes on copyrights or other rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Software Ownership

WayPresenter, including all code, design, and features, is owned by Waystream and protected by copyright laws and international treaties.

6.2. Bible Translations

Bible translations included in WayPresenter are subject to their respective copyright holders. Public domain translations (e.g., KJV) may be used freely. Other translations are provided for use within the Software only.

6.3. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or import into WayPresenter, including:

• Your songs and presentations
• Your media files
• Your settings and preferences

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of WayPresenter is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at waypresenter.com/privacy.

Key privacy principles:

• All data is stored locally on your computer by default
• Audio processing happens offline
• We do not sell your personal information
• You control your data and can export it at any time

8. Disclaimers and Warranties

8.1. As-Is Basis

WayPresenter is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8.2. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

• The Software will meet your specific requirements
• The Software will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI detection will be 100% accurate
• Results will be suitable for your purposes

8.3. AI Accuracy

While we strive for high accuracy, AI scripture detection may occasionally make errors. You should always verify detected scriptures before displaying them during services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waystream shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Software
• Service disruptions during live events (always have a backup plan)

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD.

10. User Responsibilities

As a user of WayPresenter, you agree to:

• Verify AI-detected content before displaying publicly
• Maintain backup copies of important presentations and data
• Respect copyright and licensing of Bible translations, songs, and media
• Obtain necessary licenses for copyrighted content (e.g., CCLI for songs)
• Keep the Software updated with security patches

11. Content Licensing

11.1. Bible Translations

Different Bible translations have different licensing terms:

• Public Domain (e.g., KJV): Free to use and distribute
• Copyrighted (e.g., NIV, ESV): Licensed for display within the Software only

You are responsible for complying with all applicable licensing terms.

11.2. Song Lyrics

Displaying song lyrics publicly may require a license from organizations like CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International). You are responsible for obtaining any required licenses.

12. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update, modify, or discontinue the Software or any features
• Introduce new features or change existing ones
• Require updates to continue using certain features

However, the core features you rely on will remain free.

13. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated by you or us.

13.1. Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using WayPresenter at any time by uninstalling the Software.

13.2. Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco, California.

15. General Provisions

15.1. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Waystream regarding WayPresenter.

15.2. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

15.3. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

15.4. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.

16. Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide feedback or suggestions about WayPresenter, we may use your feedback without obligation to compensate you.
